This contract serves to safeguard Hollywood Door Company as well as you, our client. Any recommendations we make should be clear to our customers. Each client has the option of accepting or rejecting all or a portion of our recommendation and/or asking for a second opinion.
Every customer contract, quote, estimate, or other written proposal of work from Hollywood Door Company (the “Contractor”) is accompanied by these Terms and Conditions of Hollywood Door Company (the “Terms and Conditions”). A homeowner or other contractor who has signed a written contract with the contractor to have work done is referred to as the “customer.” The Terms & Conditions cannot be given away or transferred.
The contractor shall provide all services to the Customer in accordance with generally recognized business practices used by other qualified contractors in the state where the services are provided.
Any estimate given to the customer is valid for thirty (30) calendar days starting on the day it was issued. A new estimate from the contractor must be requested by the customer after the 30-day grace period has passed.
The cost estimates exclude any painting or touch-up the customer requests, as well as any changes or departures from the original scope of work that are later requested.
All estimates must get the Customer’s written approval prior to becoming a legally binding contract. Email or other forms of writing may be used for written approval. An Order or Work Order shall not be planned for installation without written approval.
After the customer has given their approval or acceptance, any changes or cancellations must be approved by the contractor and/or the customer again for any additional costs or fees. The estimate, quote, or other written proposal is subject to these Terms and Conditions upon all written approvals.
All text, icons, photos, videos, software, and audio files that users contribute to us directly or via our website are collectively referred to as “content.” Content also consists of your written evaluations of our service posted online. Your review can be used in a variety of ways after submission, and you give us an unrestricted license to use it in other media.
Reproducing and publishing the content for use on this website or any of its successors is included in this. You give us permission to sublicense the rights to this licensed content by sending us a review. We reserve the right to alter or remove your content if you violate any term of these terms and conditions or if we have reasonable grounds to suspect that you have violated any term of these terms and conditions.
